I can’t say that this is all the expired Tumblrs that exist. I ran into some problems when going through the list that I scraped from Google. I plan on making another list in maybe a few weeks to a month from now. I really don’t know when I’ll make another. It will be sooner rather than later though. I just did a scrape of WordPress.com expired blogs and literally found one expired out of over a million. I think that it’s safe to say that either the way I scraped was to blame or maybe there isn’t many expired WordPress blogs. I even tried scraping Google results that were ten years old and that didn’t produce results. I have to say that I only did a small scrape to test. I would say that anyone anyone who wants expired WordPress blogs is really going to have to work for them.
I don’t have any information as to the metrics of these Tumblrs or anything like that. All I can say is that they were in the Google search results when I scraped them. You’ll have to run your own benchmarks to see if they are worth registering. There are free tools online to check them.
